April Heiser-Liedike heads up the Limerick office of Proactive Tax Strategies, LLP. She purchased the building with her husband in August 2016 and moved her operations in January 2017.
She graduated “With Distinction” from The Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Minor in Business. She is currently enrolled in Villanova University's Graduate Tax Program working towards a Master of Taxation degree.
April began in the financial industry in 2003 and added tax preparation to her practice in 2007. She was inspired to add tax planning and preparation to her practice from her father, who owned a CPA firm, prior to his death. Her focus is individual 1040 returns, including Single Member LLCs. She became an Enrolled Agent in March 2010. An Enrolled Agent is a person who can represent taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service. Enrolled Agent status is the highest credential the IRS awards.
April is the wife of Chuck Liedike and mother to three little girls, Ava, Violet and Evelyn. Ava was born at the end of December 2014 and was the catalyst to April joining with Proactive. Violet followed Ava in September 2016 and little Evelyn (Evie for short) was born in September 2019. April is also dedicated to work in the community. She is Past-President for Spring-Ford Rotary and NAIFA (National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors) Tri-County PA. Previously, she had served as Secretary and Treasurer for NAIFA Tri-County PA.
